Christ in every eye that sees me,

Ash Wednesday- 17 February 2021.

Ash Wednesday: On Ash Wednesday, we place the sign of the cross on our foreheads with ashes while saying Repent and Believe in the Gospel.

This year, while the reason for Ash Wednesday remains the same, our celebration will change. Sadly, it is not possible to gather in Church as a community.

However, you are welcome to collect individual sachets of blessed ashes from any of the Churches in our pastoral area after Mass on Wednesday to take to your home.

A gentle reminder to avoid gathering in groups in Church and to respect the two metre distance.
